young life cookout

today i finished all of my exams. see ya sophomore year! we had a cookout for all of the young life leaders and committee at crock's house. it was really fun to get everyone together one last time before people go home. love me some dat pictures!

parker 127

today, again, has been full of library time and exams. but, tomorrow is my official last day as a sophomore at unc. i'll technically be staying here for a few more days, but tonight's my last night as a sophomore in parker 127. it's been a great little home for the year, and not to mention - part of a super awesome suite!

saffron

today i have been bogged down with exam stuff, so i'm going to put up pictures of saffron the hedgehog. she belongs to my friend nick, and he brought her to our young life cookout last night!

ashton turns 20!

today was my sweet friend ashton's birthday! a bunch of people gathered outside carroll hall with balloons and noisemakers to greet the birthday girl after her class. she was so surprised!

broken racquetballs

today i have done nothing but eat, sleep, and school. ok - that might be a slight exaggeration, but i was pretty busy. exam time will do that to you. the other day i broke a racquetball while playing, so ben and i drew a face on it. that makes 2 that i have broken now! i figured i'd take pictures for proof!

seniors!

today we had a little dinner in commemoration of the seniors on my young life team. there was a lot of good food and a lot of good conversation. afterwards, we went over to nick's house to play with callie's chickens!

end note: so glad our 3 seniors will still be around next year!

easter day

today was easter. instead of going to hickory grove, we decided to go to verizon wireless for mecklenburg community church's service. it was great and also a great outreach for the community.

easter egg hunt & friends

today i was awakened by my mom telling me that she and dad had a something for me downstairs. i was super confused, but proceeded to go downstairs. dad then announced that the wongs were going to have an easter egg hunt! in honor of the event, daniel and i thought it would be funny to match like little kids, so we did. it was a lot of fun! tonight i met janel and taylor at the park to hang out and talk. i absolutely love time like that...

101 cookie cutters

today mom and i went shopping. on our little outing, i stumbled upon the best thing ever - a box of 101 cookie cutters! i had intentions of baking over this break, but this find definitely pushed me over the edge. i tried out about 10 of the cutters today! SO EXCITED. i couldn't finish decorating all of them because i ran out of ingredients for icing. sad day!

end note: you know you've made too many cookies when you run out of icing!

easter break

today was the first day of easter break. after class, sallie and i went by the old well for a few pictures. the flowers there are stunning this time of year. on the drive home, the sky was breathtaking, so i just had to pull the camera out.

downtown durham and racquetball

today i went to downtown durham with some friends. we had a fun time exploring the shops and walking around. it is a really cool place - i'd love to go back again soon. tonight, per usual, i played racquetball... sadly, harrison had to leave before the picture...

bible study party

today we had our bible study end of the year party at amanda's house. we had a white elephant exchange where we brought one of our favorite things as a gift. i'm sad the year has come to an end, but hey - these ladies will be back next semester!

last yl club of the year

today we had the last yl club of the year for da and trinity. we had a great turn out and a really fun time. we played this insane game with dead fish and chocolate pudding. it was also danielle's last club, which was bittersweet.

sydney and rachel

today i got to take pictures of two of my favorite sisters - sydney and rachel. i live with sydney, and her little sister came up to visit this weekend. they are hilarious together. we went to farrington farms for pictures, and it was absolutely gorgeous.
