today i took a few pictures at performance west. it's the extra lot we have at work to store cars. today was absolutely beautiful outside, so i couldn't resist taking a few shots not of cars!

today jordan and i got a little excited after reading taylor swift's tweet about holiday creamer. we decided to take a trip to the store and buy some more coffee as well as christmasy creamer. such a good decision.

today is 11/11/11. like many others, at 11:11 i made a wish. today, also began basketball season!! unc had the honor of playing in the carrier classic - a first in history: basketball game on an aircraft carrier. i'm making an exception, and using a picture that i didn't take. pictures from the game were breathtaking.

today i finally took a picture of some flowers i've been eyeing for days. they're on ransom, and i never have my camera with me when i pass by. but, today was the opportune moment; i walked to ransom, camera in hand to see the flowers!

today i think i am reiterating the same point: i love fall. i love the trees and the colors and the weather. every single time i walk outside, the beauty takes my breath away!

today i decided to be a little artsy. over the weekend, three of my young life girls had a birthday party, and since i was at the beach, i missed it. i decided to mod podge their initials to give them this week! better late than never!

today we left oki. i've had some great memories here in the past 2 years of college. seriously, i am so thankful for siddy's family and their graciousness in always opening up their house for us lazy, college students.

today was a day of doing nothing - aka best day ever. i can't even begin to explain how much sleep i've gotten in the past 2 days, but it has been so needed. i love the fact that we can all just sit and talk and relax. this afternoon, we did a little craft to break up the hanging out. see!

today as i was driving down ransom, i was taken aback. it seems like yesterday all of the leaves on the trees were green, but today they were many different colors. i love this time of year because it is absolutely beautiful!

today has been the prettiest day. i absolutely love this time of year. i love the falling leaves, the weather... really, this time of year is the best!

carmel apples + onions?

today syd and i covered two apples and an onion with caramel for young life tomorrow. we're doing a hoe down themed club, and for one of the games, we're having a race to eat caramel apples. but, with young life there is always a catch - one of the apples isn't really an apple. it's a caramel onion. someone's in for a nice little surprise tomorrow.

today is tuesday, which means i don't have any class. it also means i get to spend my day at work. if i haven't expressed it before, i really enjoy my job. i get to take pictures of cars all day and then mess with inventory online for ads. this picture is one of my favorite to take.

today is one of those days where i don't run into any people to take pictures of... sooo, i resorted to something in the house - this little painting. jess and erin were roommates freshman and sophomore years, and they went to high school  together. they made this before coming to college, and each tarheel is one of their feet. cute, right?

today i am back in chapel hill. being away from school while it's in session is just so weird and makes you appreciate it even more. yes, i am a nerd. i did miss going to class.

today i am pleased to report that i am on the mends! i'm still not 100%, but i feel so so so much better! and, i'm going to go back to work tomorrow! i cannot tell you how exited i am. with all this time in bed, i've begun to get cabin fever. it's crazy.

ipad

today i got my ipad! i've been itching to have one to play with. derek constantly pulls his out during latin american politics, showing me the awesome apps he has, so i've been anxious to do some app shopping. anyways, it's been fun to mess around with this toy while being sick in bed. talk about perfect timing on buying one!
