today after church, we went to get dim sum in charlotte for dad's birthday and chinese new year. when we got there, there were the chinese dragons, buddha, a drum line, and firecrackers outside the restaurant in the parking lot. after we ate, we realized that dad's cousin timmy and his family had been sitting beside us the whole time, so we got to visit with them. tonight i went to dinner with janel, sara, and deborah. then we went to uncc to watch the super bowl in their suite. it was delightful. and, please note their wonderful school spirit!
