uptown charlotte: bird's eye view
today dad took me to work. his office is on the 31st floor of a building uptown. the view from there is amazing. i had asked him if i could come take pictures at his office, so today we went. the bird's eye view was sick. today, i also went to visit my friend jessica who's house sitting for a family that just got an 8 week old puppy. oh yeah, and they have another dog who's the sweetest ever. so, today's pictures are mostly from those two events - with a fun little something at the end.
now for something really fun. last night i was messing around and took some pictures. i came to the realization that my family actually does look alike! i wonder if you see the resemblance too...
end note: i may have recently developed a fear of heights.

mallory & friends
today i went with a few friends to uptown charlotte. every year during the holiday season there is an outdoor ice skating rink in the middle of uptown. and, every year, i go skating there. today i was supposed to go iceskating, but there was a problem: kids - lots of them. the rink was uber crowded, so instead of skating, my friends and i walked around uptown a little and then headed to a nearby mall. here are a few pictures from today - mostly of mallory.
end note: if you can't ice skate, you might as well take pictures, right?

kelsey elizabeth
today i made a deal with my friend kelsey that i would go yarn shopping and teach her to crochet if we could take a detour at north cabarrus park to take pictures, thus the following shots.
oh yeah, and the crocheting is coming along quite nicely too!
end note: graffiti is cool, and granny squares make the best blankets.
