today i got to take pictures of jordan and tony! i absolutely love taking pictures of people and haven't gotten to do so very much this semester. jordan and tony kindly obliged to being my models, and they were quite good at it to say the least! going out and taking pictures was a great start to my week of studying, paper writing and finals.

christmas extravaganza

today i'm posting pictures from last night. we had a bunch of young life girls over to decorate cookies and watch elf. it was great.

today i took a few pictures at performance west. it's the extra lot we have at work to store cars. today was absolutely beautiful outside, so i couldn't resist taking a few shots not of cars!

baking galore

today we got our bake on at the mcmansion! we're having a bunch of young life girls over tomorrow night for a christmas gathering with cookie decorating and other fun things, so we decided to go ahead and bake the cookies that we're going to decorate along with other cookies that'll we'll have just to eat. syd decided we should throw a cake in there too that wished jesus a happy birthday... so many sweets! so excited for tomorrow night!

end note: i cannot wait to eat all of this tomorrow!

unc v wisconsin

today unc played wisconsin at home. when we got to the dean dome, literally the only seats left were the last row in the entire building. but, there is no bad seat in the dean dome! of course, unc was victorious!

today someone had the idea to take a group picture after bible study since it was the last one for the semester. sadly, no one was extremely thrilled with the idea except jess.

today was monday, and every monday i have team time for young life. callie had us over for a post-thanksgiving dinner, which was delicious. i am so thankful for each and every single one of my teammates. as tradition dictates, we took a team picture for our christmas card that we send to our committee.

today i got to take christmas card pictures for some friends. i've been wanting to pictures of the three girls - kelsey, alyssa and carley for a while now, so i snapped some of them after taking pictures of the whole family. this one is my favorite!

hello black friday

today has been quite the day. this morning i got my hair cut, and then mom and i headed to southpark for some black friday shopping. it was a productive trip aka good shopping spoils. this afternoon i went and saw tori and mac. he has gotten so big and is the cutest. as tradition dictates, i went to casa grande for dinner with sara and tori. then we headed to see twilight, which was actually pretty good. my night didn't end there. next was waffle house with janel - one of my favorite things to do when i come home. waffles, tea and talking. so good. here are a few pictures to sum up the busy day!

end note: if i had had a blog this time last year, there is a good chance that pictures eerily similar to these  would have been taken one year ago today.

today was thanksgiving aka the first time our whole family has been together since june. daniel and i hadn't seen each other since then; it's slightly ridiculous to say the least. since we were all together, we decided it would be the opportune time to take family pictures for our christmas. here are some of my favorites:

today jordan and i got a little excited after reading taylor swift's tweet about holiday creamer. we decided to take a trip to the store and buy some more coffee as well as christmasy creamer. such a good decision.

mcmansion cookie fail

today the mcmansion cleared out except for elaine, jordan and i. we decided to spend our last night here baking cookies, doing crafts and watching television. sadly, no chick flick. we stuck with the usual - criminal minds. our cookies were slightly a fail. they crumbled apart and weren't the prettiest, but they sure did taste good! and, they didn't burn!

today i met this sweet, little girl. isn't she the cutest? sam bought her to give to her mom for christmas! best present ever.

today the mcmansion went to the blank canvas fall show to support jessica! jess danced in 5 different numbers, and is one of the best out there if i do say so myself! she had quite the crowd there for her tonight too! here are a few pictures from the show. the lighting wasn't the best, but you get the picture - literally!
